While Findett was founded in 1962 as a custom manufacturer of specialty chemicals, the company is no longer engaged in custom manufacturing.

Findett is now a subsidiary of SantoLubes LLC, which manufactures and distributes high performance specialty lubricants, the Santovac, Santotrac and Santolubes product lines, and through its Synergy Products subsidiary, pipernonyl butoxide for the insecticide market
